VoltDelta Directory Assistance provides the infrastructure and database elements
required to:
Distribute calls to either an automated call flow, directly to an
operator, or a combination of the two,
Satisfy the caller’s request for:
- DA service - White pages listing, finding a business by category, or presenting
in audio when and where a movie is playing, a
- Toll service, such as billing a call to a calling card or finding out how much a
call will cost, or
- Intercept service, which looks up a new number associated with the disconnected
number dialed by the caller.
Deliver information to the callervia the operator’s voice, an
automated announcement, with an ad inserted if desired, and/or SMS text message,
including the offer of call completion if desired.
Bill the service provided to the caller, with records identifying
the service(s) provided available for use by the carrier’s billing solution.
VoltDelta’s solutions are available for use in either a VoltDelta ConnectExpress
environment or a Nortel DMS TOPS system, either TDM or IP. VoltDelta solutions
are group in the following categories:
- Call Distribution & Operator Services –VoltDelta provides all resources
required from telephony access and call distribution to operator workstation
applications with billing and reporting. Tens of thousands VoltDelta
agent seats are deployed in North America.
- Listings Database & Confirmation – Includes a database for Directory
Assistance along with along other information for Intercept and Enhanced Directory
Assistance applications.
- Voice Recognition and Messaging Automation – Utilizes unique VoltDelta
CrystalWAVE speech recognition technology to fully automate calls with an ability
to send SMS confirmation with speech automation or operator assist.
- Personalization – Services that “remember” what a caller
prefers
- Advertising – Audio promotion within an automated call flow or an operator
assisted request
